From the start of our project to finish our basement, we knew that Bryan and his team were right for us. We had three bids, however only Bryan and his team worked with us in designing the space that worked for us. Bryan and Ben (his project manager) were attentive throughout the project and the level of craftsmanship and professionalism by the entire team were at the highest standards. Throughout the project Bryan would come by the work site to see the progress of the work, check with us to see if there were any items that needed to be addressed and give us a summation of the upcoming events. We made some last minute changes to the layout and also asked for some custom woodworking and Bryan and team accommodated our requests with eagerness to tackle the ideas and challenges. The finished basement looks great and we have thoroughly enjoyed the space watching football games and relaxing in front of the oversized fireplace!

We hired Mission Basement Company to finish approximately 2,000 SF of basement in our home. From the beginning I was impressed with their professionalism and demeanor, we actually had to delay the project a year to obtain financing, but Bryan was very patient with the delay and once we were good to go he started right away. The estimate was accurate and he included a folder with all of his change/upgrade pricing printed on it so there were no surprises when it came to costs and change orders. We initially wanted a very vanilla finish, but Bryan included several options to spice up the basement including a stone covered fireplace complete with an arched entrance to our media room, mud set walk in showers for the bedrooms, and a walk up wet bar. We chose to do all 3 and are really glad we did!
The construction phase was a much better experience than I anticipated. All contractors entered through a basement window and did not ever physically disturb our family. I said physically disturb because there is no escaping the noise of a basement finish, but they were courteous about scheduling so if I ever needed quiet I could have it. I was amazed at how coordinated the different trades were with one coming after the other in a timely fashion. There were some periods of time toward the end of the project when we had to wait a few days because the subs had other projects to work on, but nothing was excessive or unexpected. Ben and Bryan always communicated with us about the schedule so nothing ever surprised us or wasn’t explained. The final inspection from the city took place on the exact day Mission Basement said they would be done. The project was completed on time and without any surprises in the budget.I would recommend Mission Basement Company to anybody considering a basement finish or any home remodeling project.
